SE Automation named Filics partner in Sweden

SE Automation 17 September 2026 4 min read

Stockholm, 17 September 2026. SE Automation, part of Svenska Elektrod AB, has been appointed Filics' partner in Sweden. The agreement makes the Filics Streamliner, a double-runner system for autonomous pallet transport, available on the Swedish market. The system will run on Swedish soil for the first time at the Logistics & Automation trade fair at Kistamässan in Stockholm, 30 September to 1 October.

The Filics Streamliner consists of two ultra-flat, independent robots working together. They drive underneath a Euro pallet standing directly on the floor, lift it from below and transport it omnidirectionally, without turning, manoeuvring or repositioning the load. The robots enter and exit from both sides of the pallet and can retrieve pallets from blocked rows.

The decisive difference from conventional automation is that the warehouse does not have to be rebuilt. The system is designed for existing facilities and requires no new racking, no work on the floor and no fixed infrastructure. The Euro pallet serves as the interface and the floor as the infrastructure.

"Swedish warehouses have automated picking, storage and transport between stations. What remains is the pallet on the floor, and it remains there because the available technology has needed aisles to turn in. In a typical floor block storage, a significant share of the floor area goes to exactly that. Filics turns the problem around through geometry rather than through the control system."

— Karl Ericsson, CTO at SE Automation

"Sweden is one of the markets where we see great potential for autonomous pallet transport; the industry here thinks consistently in terms of efficiency. The choice was an easy one for us: from the very beginning, it was clear that we wanted to work with SE Automation, a strong partner in the region with a wealth of experience. That opens up a lot of possibilities for us to successfully build the Swedish market together."

— Christian Fenk, Head of Sales at Filics

Training in Munich alongside the first Swedish customer

In August, SE Automation's technical team completed training at Filics in Munich. The company's first Swedish customer travelled with them and is already heading towards installation.

"We brought the customer along before we had sold a single unit in Sweden. Whoever runs the system day to day should know it as well as we do before it is in place."

— Karl Ericsson

On show at Logistics & Automation

The Filics Streamliner will be running in SE Automation's stand H:24 at Logistics & Automation, Kistamässan, 30 September to 1 October 2026. Representatives from both SE Automation and Filics will be present on both days.

  • Free entry to the fair with SE Automation's visitor code.
  • Visitors who would like an individual walkthrough of their own material flow and layout can book a 30-minute slot.
